Meet Dr. Foley
Dr. Benjamin Foley, D.D.S., is a highly accomplished oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005 from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Foley then attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in Denver, where he was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society for graduating in the top 10% of his class.

Education
He received his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, and served as Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Foley is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He also served as the president of the Boulder Broomfield County Dental society. He has been named one of Boulder’s top dentists by 5280 magazine every year since 2016.
He has medical staff privileges at Boulder Community Hospital and the UCHealth Longs Peak Surgery Center. He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Specialization
Dr. Foley has extensive training in corrective jaw surgery and trauma to the facial skeleton, wisdom tooth removal, titanium and zirconia dental implants, and bone grafting. He specializes in dental implants, wisdom teeth extraction, exposure and bonding of impacted teeth, extractions, bone grafting, and intravenous anesthesia. In addition, he has received specialized training in cutting-edge technologies for corrective jaw surgery and jaw reconstruction using CT-Guided Virtual Surgical Planning. This training allows him to provide his patients with the best possible outcomes using minimally invasive techniques.
He has co-authored three professional papers, co-authored a chapter in the textbook, “The Osteoperiosteal Flap: A Simplified Approach to Alveolar Bone Reconstruction,” and given presentations and abstracts on bone grafting, mandibular reconstruction, and CT-guided Virtual Surgical Planning in orthognathic (jaw) surgery at national and international conferences.

More About Dr. Foley
When he isn’t at the office, he volunteers his time teaching Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Colorado Dental School. He also serves on mission trips with the Belize Mission Project. Dr. Foley donates his services to treat patients through the Donated Dental Network and uninsured/underserved students from the Boulder Valley School District. He is grateful for the opportunities he has to give back to others.
Dr. Benjamin Foley is a dedicated husband and father of two. He loves spending time fly fishing, skiing, golfing, playing the violin, and camping with his family. He also enjoys hiking and following the University of Colorado Buffaloes.
